Yes, I find the file after restart Octave (but I think it is not very elegant
and time is wasted)
No, I have the same problem even after using rehash().
Only if I restart OCTAVE or, without restarting, I use the option 'Edit->Set
Path->Save options' from the top menu of the GUI, then I can see and use the
script.
