Follow-up Comment #3, bug #61080 (project octave):
Since the editor is a Qt widget, I'm guessing that the functions it uses to
open files might be different from what we use in the Octave interpreter.
If you use the full name to open the file with Octave's fopen function at the
command line, does it work?
What functions are used in the editor to open the file?
