I received your user details privately.

I didn't see the argument "row" mentioned in Matlab's documentation. I also
couldn't get Matlab to accept that argument. Removing it also allowed to
simplify (and complete) the input check.

I also wasn't able to trigger the error in line 121. Can it be removed?
