Follow-up Comment #10, bug #57388 (project octave):

I think the misalignment you show (and that I observe on my screen to) is only
due to limited resolution of your screen. If I print to png with -r500 (to
increase artificially the resolution), or to pdf, I don't observe the
misalignment.
