Follow-up Comment #6, bug #57319 (project octave):
OP here, your fix works for me, too ... but only if I'm not in debug mode. If
I walk through some 'legend show / legend off'-lines using _Step_, I still get
the execution error in graphics callback function. I suppose this has
something to do with event handling in debug mode?
(Btw, there's also two typos in your ##FIXME comment: 'leeds' instead of
'leads' and 'Porcessing' instead of 'Processing'.)
