Follow-up Comment #14, bug #57205 (project octave): The old way od executing selected code was line by line which was very slow and ignored a keyboard command (i.e. lines following keyboard were still executed). The new methods uses tmp script files and allows the use of keyboard for interrupting the program flow. I think this is not possible when just copying the lines into the command window.
