Update of bug #55817 (project octave): Category: None => Configuration and Build System Status: None => Confirmed Summary: News command fails => news() command fails when executed from run-octave _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #1: Yes, apparently for 5.1.0 you need to run 'make install' and then run the installed version of Octave. This doesn't affect the development branch of Octave which means there is probably a changeset that could be backported to stable. I would classify this as a small problem unlikely to affect many programmers so it make not pass the threshold for making it in to a 5.2.0 bug fix release. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?55817> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
