Follow-up Comment #12, bug #46852 (project octave):
Here is a patch that allows users of libinterp to get the warnings, but users
of liboctave not to need to link to libinterp.
I don't think the shadowing can occur without the symbol table, so I don't
think there is any need to have any additional warning for those not using
libinterp. Is that correct?
