Follow-up Comment #2, bug #48234 (project octave):
Ah, thanks Mike! config.log has:
configure:20269: checking whether Qscintilla library is installed
configure:20309: g++ -std=gnu++11 -o conftest -g -O2 -pthread -fopenmp
-I/usr/include/QtNetwork -I/usr/include/QtOpenGL -I/usr/include/QtGui
-I/usr/include/QtCore conftest.cpp -lQtNetwork -lQtOpenGL -lQtGui -lQtCore
-lqscintilla2 >&5
/usr/lib64/libnvidia-glcore.so.367.27: undefined reference to
`nv_vasprintf_vsnprintf'
/usr/lib64/libnvidia-glcore.so.367.27: undefined reference to
`nv_vasprintf_alloc'
/usr/lib64/libnvidia-glcore.so.367.27: undefined reference to
`nv_vasprintf_free'
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
so it seems that the problem comes from the update of the nvidia driver that
also took place today (to version 367.27).
[Aside from this, I still think there is a typo in configure such that it
should be:
OCTAVE_CONFIGURE_WARNING([warn_qscintilla_editor])
instead of:
OCTAVE_CONFIGURE_WARNING([warn_qscintilla])
