Details:
As of today, Octave compiled without the GUI editor and ./configure now
displays:
checking whether Qscintilla library is installed... no
while libqscintilla-devel and libqscintilla2-11 are installed (2.8.2-2.1.8).
There has been an update of libqt4-devel to version 4.8.6 on my system today
so I assume it might be related.
I tried to compile the following:
#include <Qsci/qscilexersql.h>
int main ()
{
QsciLexerSQL sqlLexer(0);
return 0;
}
with:
gcc qscint.cpp -lqscintilla2 -I/usr/include/QtNetwork -I/usr/include/QtOpenGL
-I/usr/include/QtGui -I/usr/include/QtCore
and it compiles and runs fine.
Looking at configure/configure.ac, I notice that the warning "Qscintilla
library not found; disabling built-in Qt GUI editor" is not displayed in my
case but it might be due to a typo warn_qscintilla -> warn_qscintilla_editor.
