Follow-up Comment #28, bug #31305 (project octave):
With the tip at 11168 and David's patch.contour4 patch applied,
contour(rand(20)) produces a blank axes, and contourf(peaks(20)) works
correctly. If I comment out 'axis ("tight")' in __contour__.m then
contour(peaks(20)) produces the correct result but without proper axis limits.
