I wasn't actually planning on doing DLLs for that; I mean, I don't see the
point.  I don't forsee people writing third-party plugins for nmh mailstores.
And the API?  Well, I think a significant amount of the details of that
behavior has been hashed out already on the list; not specific function
names and arguments, but a broad brush outline of how to deal with
messages.
