[Nel] Runtime error in client.exe

Finally got Nel all compiled, and I'm trying to run the snowballs client.  
When I launch it I get a runtime exception thrown from the CreateDisplay 
area of the code.  Anyone know what this could be?  I have no other parts of 
the system running.

Is there any documentation about running snowballs or the Nel services 
anywhere?
