Yes, so in practical terms it'll be OK. As you say, having something
that works, and works comprehensibly, would be a big advance on most
systems. So much so that I suspect most people (definitely including
me) won't notice any restrictions (I'm sure I'm not alone in trying to
avoid file reorganisations with current systems, simply because I
suspect it won't work well).
