Apologies for the confusion, the branch is called "multi-rebase" (the 
"multi-target" one is messy and has further experiments with static/dynamic). 
Either of these should work:

git clone -b multi-rebase git://github.com/tonytheodore/mxe.git

or

git clone git://github.com/tonytheodore/mxe.git
