David had an idea: the database we use to store the Django stuff is
*not* PostGIS-enabled (the GIS data is in a separate database).
Therefore, the SQL function that Django tries to call does not exist.

Is it possible to make the slippy map not dependent on PostGIS ? I.e,
use FloatFields instead of PointFields ?
