Subject: | [Lynx-dev] it doesn't render tables.... :-( |
Date: | Mon, 31 Jan 2005 11:11:01 -0600 |
I used Lynx recently and noticed it doesn’t render tables…
I found ELinks (http://elinks.or.cz/) that actually renders tables, color backgrounds, forms, etc…quite smart looking, but they do not have a DOS port (or even a Windows port). I was wondering if am I misinformed of Lynx? Does Lynx do these features I mentioned and if not will they ever be implemented?
I tried for example viewing drudgereport.com and Slashdot.org and it looks horrible. Its hard for me to get a sense of what is where (webpage layout). I understand it is a text browser but it shouldn’t have to be this limited. Don’t mean to be ugly…just disappointed that’s all.
Thanks.
