I don't think pnoutrefresh works for PDCurses (I did note that a few months
ago). Since I wasn't trying to make the configure script work with djgpp,
it wasn't an issue. (I'll take a look at the Unix configuration, but though
it builds properly, the X version of PDCurses doesn't really work well enough
to recommend that people try using it for lynx).

not exactly - I see in the header that it has a prototype, but only for Unix.
