Just a stab in the dark, but do you have "vi keys" set? If so, upper case the
"l", o' course. I think the "Page has only links" message should give the
capital "L" instruction, since that should work in either case. When I find
the spot in the source, I'll submit a patch to that effect.
For me, using an unpatched dev19, the link shows up on the list page both with
and without a "HIDDEN_LINK_MARKER" set.
