lynx-dev details on invalid cookie?

Is there some way to determine more about an 'invalid cookie' 
at the "accept invalid cookie?" prompt, or even from the cookie jar
page?

I don't know how to tell if a cookie is invalid.

It would be nice if there were something like pine's ^G (more help)
when this (and other) questions came up, even text that I could just paste
into a letter to the webmaster.
