And I also think you did; which means that my previous evaluation is
invalid and I need to start over from scratch. However, if I understand
correctly what you did -- that I haven't actually looked at yet -- this
round of evaluation should be considerably simpler and, if there *are*
problems, easier to fix.
I can guarantee that I won't be looking at it in time to get into 2.8.1
release. So for the moment, people should still be using individually
owned LYNX_TEMP_SPACE directories (either in users' home directories or
as subdirectories of a sticky public directory).
