LYNX-DEV centering tables

I just noticed the following minor diff between the devel code and fotemods:
On some pages containing tables (for example see http://www.qvc.com/)
lynx2.7.1ac-0.30 centers the table, regardless of which parser is used, whereas
fotemods (5/26/97) prints it left justified.
There is no <center> element around the table.
I don't know which is correct, if any.
Just thought I'd mention it.
