Try pressing CTRL-V (this command ceased to exist when the version
was added to the showinfo page but should exist if the version is
not in the showinfo page [according to CHANGES2-4]). If that doesn't
help, then try accessing:
http://www.idrc.ca/cgi-bin/bc.cgi
It'll tell you what string the browser sends for User-Agent.
I suppose Patch-O-Matic would tell you the version as well (but I'm
sure it couldn't give you a patch for something older than 2.4).
