[lwip-users] RE: [lwip] LWIP Patches and CVS [contact with Adam]

We have found that a few of our competitors are using the stack and not
giving back to the community - and probally not using the copyright
properly either.

So I am interested in working with the stack to know how it works and
use it as a platform to test against our commercial stacks. I think it
is good! But a better concentrated dev program could probally render a
really great performing stack (ie - more functional ports and add ons)
so I like to let all our engineers tinker and see if we could get to
that point and also add PORTS!!

The freedom to explore as an engineer is one of the most valuable points
we make....explore learn and see how other people do stuff...helping and
working with this project can only make us stronger and smarter. I have
monitored this project for several years now very good!!!

We are doing some linux projects for customers also and I like the lwip
stack so maybe we could add some functionality to it? But it is good
business to help anyone out no matter if it's for free - I think this
stack has some good potential! More people should be aware of it.

Sure, I'll send the tree over!

I haven't added the patches queued in my home directory (heh) because
I'm
away from the machine at the moment. You could as easily import the
current
tree.

I've noticed your company homepage. Are you guys dealing in commercial
TCP/IP stacks? What is the interest in lwip?

Not that it's a high bandwidth project or anything. ;-)

Scott.
