Follow-up Comment #3, patch #8680 (project lwip):

A patch would be very welcome! I also don't like the idea of this patch
hijacking the hooks meant for external addons. I didn't mean to apply the
patch as is...

Anyway, as you said, what would be ideal is if we could get lwIP in a state to
allow just dropping in this implementation (or anyone else's). Adding this
implementation to our sources is then a different issue. Since I'm still not
using IPv6 in products, I still can't tell if this routing table is something
needed often or not...
