My idea (in the patch) was to send a window update when the *previous* window
(before increasing it in tcp_recved) was small. That's similar as your
'increased by a large amount'...

I'm OK with postponing this until after the release of 1.3.0, but this
doesn't keep us from discussing and testing before that release!
