Follow-up Comment #24, patch #5914 (project lwip):

I've done it, and I prepare a patch file for that. I will open another
thread.

I have first to replace the table to propose an alternative. I hope send that
this evening or tomorrow...

If so, I would check in the rest these days to have a suitable start at this
and make some progress to a thread-safe stack ;-)

Once done, I think I could test your patch. But like propose in comment #15,
I think it's good...
