it does a make a make check (reg test comparison) and by default a full make doc.

You can configure it to not to do the make doc by tweaking the config files.

It will also (re)build the baseline if there hasn't already been one built or if since the last time it was run the checksum of the git tree has changed - which implies that there have been checkins since.
