I thought that was a problem related to the mensural patch?
Regardless, I don't think that we should hold back a stable
release for memory issues, unless we're using hugely more memory
than previous versions (more than would be expect from the
improved page breaking algorithms and other new features). I
don't think that we've ever claimed to have a low memory
footprint.
