I meant an implementation of Make. AFAIK building LilyPond requires GNU
Make.

Ahem *cough* GNU Make 3.81 (which I have on my GNU/Linux system) was
released in 2006.  I guess we should then require this version for
building LilyPond, shouldn't we?
