Oh, sorry.  If you're using CVS versions of libtool, you need more
tools: latest (released) versions autoconf and automake.  Then you
need to run the `bootstrap' script.

The bootstrapping may not actually be portable to all systems --
it's doesn't have to.  We surely still like to know about failures,
and will fix them if that is not hard to do.

You can get around all that if you instead try one of the daily
snapshots that may be downloaded from http://libtool.opendarwin.org/ .
