Thanx for the responses, I didn't realize that the XML will not work originally.

I do have libextractor_ole2.* and libextract_oo.* under my lib/libextractor directory, but the MS/Word still not work. The

BTW, I looked the Java code, Extractor.java, and it tried to locate the lib 'extractor_java'. I don't think there is any library named after 'extractor_java' though.

TIA, Daniel :-))

Maybe Christian can say more about that.

Regarding the java library: I don't know much about libextractor for
java, so there is a good chance that support for java is broken in the
Windows package. Any hints are welcome.

Nils: Java (like Python and PHP) is now in its own source tree:
svn/Extractor-java/. It consists of Java code and a C library which must be
installed such that the Java runtime finds it when "System.loadLibrary" is
invoked.
