[igraph] Geographical null model?

I wonder, has anybody implemented "geographical null model" in igraph, as described in, e.g.: D. Basset et al "Extraction of force-chain network architecture in granular materials using community detection", Soft Matter, 2015, V. 11, p. 2731

This null-model takes into account that only geographically/geometrically adjacent vertices can be connected by edges.
