Again, total newbie. I downloaded the OS X binary of OtOctave.app. Of course,
when I dbl-click on it I get a "QtOctave cannot be opened because of a problem"
dialog, and then this:

I am not surprised because undoubtedly I am supposed to do all sorts of 'nix
stuff to get the binary to work of which I have no idea and none of the
QtOctave sites seem to mention (except if I compile it from sources and then
what is the point of the binary?)---including the site I got the binary from.
Now, I suspect I am to install some Qt library/packages stuff necessary to make
the binary work. And those would be what? And how do I do that?
I am trying to make a case for Octave with my Matlab-dependent colleagues, and
none of this is helping.
