| redhat 8.0
| GNU Octave, version 2.1.36 (i686-pc-linux-gnu)

| octave:1> s=randn(10);

| I try to plot 10 lines. Plot shows 7 of them and
| displays a legend with 8 of them.

| Does anyone know of a solution?
I can't reproduce the problem here on a Debian system.
What version of gnuplot are you using?
Maybe you should report this problem to the Red Hat people?
