One possibility would be if you are using different library functions. This
might happen if you have installed the NaN-tb
(from octave-forge/extra/NaN/ )
on one but not on the other machine.
Can you run NANTEST (see attachment or from NaN-tb) on both machines. Do not
care about the messages, but tell me the resulting variables r and q.
