Hi Vesa,
    Thank you for responding so quickly. I'm also ccing the list,
which u perhaps forgot.

Yeah I did that on first try ;). Then sent another email to list.

I do not know what u mean as default boot in BIOS? Lemme check if
there is any option like that & report later on that.

Thid default boot option in BIOS is this your boot drive selection from IDE0 or IDE1. When you select IDE1 from BIOS to boot from, it then does following:

(hd0) == IDE1
(hd1) == IDE0

When you select IDE0 as boot device from BIOS it does following:

(hd0) == IDE0
(hd1) == IDE1

So now from what u say these are the changes I need to do on the
/boot/grub/ ?

(fd0)   /dev/fd0
(hd1)   /dev/sda
(hd0)   /dev/sdb

I'm sure the fdisk-l and listing above has told u what I
need. I just want to make sure things are correctly done each time.

When you select IDE1 as boot device from BIOS, this is correct If you install to IDE0 and boot from IDE0 then your previous map was correct.
