Seems gnuplot likely *can* support a histogram (given it can support 
columnstacked histograms)

but it would be extra work to ask the GNUmed report generator to identify what 
kind of data is being selected by a user, and to then conditionally process the 
scenarios into what would be the desired plots.

Maybe qualifies only as something that *could* be done if a sufficient itch was 
to anywhere develop.
