a first clue :-)
in both cases the backstrace of the stack in gdb is the same
do_genmove
collect_move_reasons
owl_reasons
test_owl_attack_move
owl_analyze_semeai_after_move
and
gnugo -d 0x0004 (debug worms) does not complete because of the bug
