Follow-up Comment #13, task #15713 (project gnuastro):

The code is pushed here

unwanted function and struct and have used indexes for all-purpose as
discussed.

The healpixes are shown for theta_pix/2 which are not touching each other, but
when I change values to theta_pix/1.2 or such they actually meet to produce a
grid as expected. 

For quads, as can be seen they are mostly concentrated on the lower right,
though certainly, quads are available throughout the healpixels. But this
behaviour seems likely as the other quads are not more in number than the ones
in the lower right and hence are more in number, though I will certainly look
if there are any logical error. Please point out if you find any:-)
