I don't think many people thought Guix runs systemd, on the contrary,
many people thought GNU hackers hate systemd, and they asked on Quora. I
don't know how many people here dislike systemd, but I'm of of the haters.

Agreed, at least I never thought Guix runs systemd even in the
beginning, but I thought it's traditional LSB init scripts.
