Not the same length.
Pronounced wildly differently.  Only one with a protruding “y”.

I don’t think you can speak for others.

I have not met a single person who thought Guix System runs systemd.  On
the contrary, people who dislike systemd for various reasons and
considered this important enough to search for a system that uses a
different init daemon have searched and found Guix.
