You have confused which side of this argument is delusional, I'm afraid. The SFLC files suit as if the violating party has simply chosen to infringe the copyrights of their clients.

If you would like to see what the SFLC *really* claims, it's easy
enough - read the web site of their clients: <http://www.busybox.net/license.html> Our enforcement efforts are aimed at bringing people into compliance with the BusyBox license. ... We don't want monetary awards,

Monetary awards? MONETARY AWARDS!!!

Do the lawyers at the SFLC like to collect handsome salaries from
public contributions to their non-profit organization? Does a bear
shit in the woods?

They have filed five consecutive *clearly frivolous* copyright
infringement suits in the The United States Court of Appeals for the
Second Circuit for which the plaintiffs have no registered copyrights.

Anyone with an ounce of brains can see that at least a few at the
SFLC have a vested motive to not be exposed filing frivolous
lawsuits -- for which they receive handsome monetary awards.

injunctions, or to generate bad PR for a company, unless that's the only way to get somebody that repeatedly ignores us to comply
with the license on our code.

Are we supposed to believe the delusional rantings of GPL skeptics, or the statements of the actual plaintiffs to the suit?

More than a few GNU fans are in total denial concerning the SFLC
litigation racket. The SFLC loudly promotes those highly emotional
socialists dreams of GNU fans and in gratitude the donations roll
in. Nothing reminds me more of the SFLC and GNU fans than Rush
Limbaugh and his mindless dittoheads.

Ah 'tis a noble deed indeed to milk the faithful.

He. He.

Sincerely,
Rjack :)
