Sorry, I left off the timing results.

On my Dual 2.4GHz Windows machine, tla changes takes 39.0 seconds

On a similarly equipped Linux machine, it takes 6.5 seconds.

On a 500 MHz Linux, but with the --link optimization, it only takes 4.4
seconds (9.1 without --link)

That time is really painful. Breaking it up into multiple projects means
each time I want to commit, it only needs to see if a few files have
changed.

In case someone else wants to know, I'm using "tagline" identification.
And I use a revlib on both linux and windows.
