I'm using gnokii for a text/SMS-based system of tallying election returns. I am now at the point where the system properly accepts applications of volunteers, and sends a trial report sheet (i.e., a blank form) via text. The 6210 I'm using is connected to the first serial port.
I have one question: if I want to use more than one phone (there are 3 networks in Manila) connected to a single CPU (say, 2 phones on the serial ports and one on a USB port), what would be a good way to do this? I can't find in the docs or the sample config file .gnokiirc a suggested approach.
I'm thinking of this approach: the software will first read the first phone (using 1 config file), then the next phone, using another config file, and finally the 3rd one, using another config file. This would mean copying config1, config2 or config3 over .gnokiirc. Is there a better way of doing this?
Greetings to all, Roberto Verzola
