Greetings, Gaius: I tried building gm2-5.4.0-20180207 with the latest LDFLAGS fix. Now, mc and mklink build in gcc/gm2/boot-bin/ but LDFLAGS never made it to ppg:/home/build/gcc/5.2.0/bin/gcc -g -o gm2/ppg [...] \ gm2/gm2-ppg-boot/main.o -lm -lpth Undefined first referenced symbol in file recv /usr/local/lib/libpth.so [...] recvfrom /usr/local/lib/libpth.so ld: fatal: symbol referencing errors. No output written to gm2/ppg collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status gmake[3]: *** [gm2/ppg] Error 1
Subsequently, I added $(LDFLAGS) in several places to Make-lang.in.These all built but then the build ground to a halt with the old problem, reported separately.
Sincerely, john
