Hi,
here is the recent changelog, the number of regression tests have
increased and the number of failures has decreased from 57 to 15.
Some recent bug reports are still outstanding though. Effectively the
number of regression tests can be divided by 3 as the regression test
code is compiled using 3 different combinations of compiler options.
I've had some success in building gm2 for MinGW as a cross compiler,
(basically I've seen helloworld.exe produced with a little extra
linking help) if there is interest in this I could put together a
web page documenting how it can be done..
Happy new year..
Gaius

* increased the number of regression tests to 1332
* gm2 passes 1320 and fails 15
* many bug fixes..
* improved documentation, gm2.texi. Now contains
a ebnf description of GNU Modula-2 extracted from
bnf/m2.bnf.
* completed the optional final parameter argument.
* reimplemented the CAP standard function so that it
can be used within constant expressions.
here is the output I get from running:
make check-gm2 from within `build/gcc'
=== gm2 Summary ===
# of expected passes 1320
# of unexpected failures 15
