This patch supposedly made it into mercurial, I'd assume Kyle's code is up to date as well, but you (Kyle) might want to double check that you have it. That patch was needed to be able to locate the data directory within a Mac application bundle, and could partly explain why it wasn't finding the files.

Anyway, it's tricky because globulation does a bit of magic I didn't quite get around to figuring out, which allows it to use the data directory in the build directory even when you move and run the build products from another location. In other words, this allows you to make a package which you think is self-contained, but it's actually referencing build-directory resources which won't be found on other users' machines. :-/

if you're talking about the libs it depends on, libboost, libsdl,
etc. I already figured out how to bundle those in :)
