Summary: Uploading HTML link to the Source Document

Initial Comment:
We have started a project in which we plan to use
GFORGE as a collaborative engineering tool.  I have
used BSCW for collaboration since 1996 and used to
uploading links to documents that are maintained
elsewhere.

GForge doesn't seem to support this invaluable
feature.  Worse, it doesn't complain that it doesn't
support the feature when an HTML reference is provided
as the file to upload.  If attempted, it results in a
blank document being inserted into the document tree. 
And, there is no way to remove this document.
