Yesterday's Guardian came with a 16 page glossy drop out aimed at the academic sector and explaining to them that the way ahead is tablet PCs with wireless connectivity. It will save them money it reckons. I reckon the tablets will get nicked and the wireless hacked, but I may be too cynical.

It strikes me that MS is feeling the need to promote itself in a market where it previously felt able to sit back and let the orders flow, but now it has been galvanised into pro-activity the need for counter-propaganda is possibly greater than ever.
